Necks for saxophone SLAVIK MUSIC "MAGNA"
The SLAVIK MUSIC MAGNA neck is created for the demanding musician who is looking for his unique color of sound.
The neck is a place where most of the sound color, intonation, tonal feeling and flexibility are created, therefore it is a very important element of the saxophone
By using the MAGNA neck you get a product that has been designed to optimize the performance of both modern and classical instruments from the moment your air enters the instrument.
The specially designed neck tenon provides a richer, more expressive, larger sound in all registers, and the intonation is very accurate.
Each neck is additionally aged annealing, is to use a technology to let the new neck sounds like it has been played over 100 hours. It will be more free blowing and with better vibration.
The diameter of the neck tenon for the alto saxophone is 24.5mm and for the tenor 27.5mm which means they fit most standard saxophones.
The necks come in the following finishes:
Gold lacquer - brass,
Unlacquered - Brass,
Unlacquered - copper (85 tenor, 91 alto),
Silver-plated - brass
Silver-plated - copper (85 tenor, 91 alto)
Each finish gives a slightly different color, therefore we invite you to the tests :)
