For this 130th year anniversary of the company’s founding, Henri Selmer Paris is creating a buzz and returning to its initial activity: the design and manufacturing of Saxophone reeds.
In line with tradition, Henri Selmer Paris makes their reeds from cane from southern France and distinguishes themselves by using wild canes.
Making the reeds richer in fiber, which gives them a higher durability. In a 3-year time span and with the help of artists from diverse musical backgrounds, Selmer Paris developed a profile reed adapted to the needs of all the musicians. Including jazz and popular music.
Ease of vibration, flexibility, richness of sound and its unique balance across all registers symbolize this new reed.
