The Selmer Muse Eb is a professional clarinet designed for musicians seeking a rich tone, precise intonation and playing comfort. It was developed through four years of collaboration between Henri Selmer Paris instrument designers and orchestral clarinetists from around the world.

Sound inspired by the Recital model

The Muse builds on the acoustic design of the acclaimed Selmer Recital Eb, retaining its bore concept and external body diameter. It offers a full, harmonically rich sound and the freedom to shape your tone. Revised positioning and shaping of selected tone holes improve intonation consistency throughout the instrument.

Precision and playing comfort

Improved keywork ergonomics help players navigate demanding passages with ease. Cork pads, with the exception of four leather pads in the lower section of the instrument, contribute to effortless tone production, precise response and clarity of sound.

The body, barrels and bell are made from grenadilla wood. Silver-plated keywork and rings featuring matte black details give the instrument an elegant appearance.
